Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making genreagency.com usable by everyone.

Effective May 12, 2026

1. Our commitment

Yu Company LLC believes the web should be accessible to people of all abilities. We are working to make genreagency.com conform to recognized accessibility standards and to provide a usable experience for visitors using assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, screen magnifiers, and similar tools).

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We treat reports of accessibility barriers as priority bugs and act on them quickly.

2. Conformance target

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard most US courts and the US Department of Justice reference when evaluating website accessibility under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Where practical we also adopt newer recommendations from WCAG 2.2 AA (notably target-size minimums for interactive controls, focus appearance, and dragging movements).

3. Measures taken

To support accessibility, we have implemented the following on this website:

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single <main> landmark, descriptive headings, and proper list / table semantics.
  • A visible "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators (high-contrast outline rings) on all interactive elements.
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 AA minimums for body text (4.5:1) and large text (3:1).
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion — looping animations and scroll-triggered effects are disabled for users who request reduced motion.
  • ARIA attributes on dialog triggers, modals, and decorative elements.
  • Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images marked as such.
  • Form elements (the booking calendar inputs) labeled by the underlying widget; we work with the vendor to flag any gaps.
  • Responsive layout that supports 200% browser zoom without loss of content or functionality.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, modal, and mobile menu — all interactive controls reachable and operable via keyboard alone.

4. Accessibility features

  • Skip link: press Tab from the top of any page to reveal "Skip to content."
  • Keyboard navigation: use Tab / Shift+Tab to move between interactive elements. Enter or Space activates buttons and links. Esc closes the booking modal and mobile menu.
  • Reduced motion: if your operating system requests reduced motion, looping background motion (hero zoom, scrolling marquee, pulse indicators) is automatically disabled.
  • Bilingual labels: primary navigation and CTAs are presented in Korean, with English context provided via lang-tagged subtitles for assistive technology to pronounce correctly.
  • Text scaling: typography uses relative units (clamp + rem) and scales smoothly with browser zoom up to 200%.

5. Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content may not be fully accessible. We are working to address the following:

  • Anonymized testimonials use a single-letter avatar (e.g., "K"). The letter is decorative (hidden from screen readers) but may not provide the rich identity context preferred by sighted users.
  • Korean and English mixed content may cause some screen readers to mispronounce English words inside Korean sentences when the underlying lang attribute is omitted. We add lang="en" on English subtitles, but some inline mixed-language strings may still be missed.
  • Hero background image is decorative (set via CSS) and has no alternative text. Hero meaning is fully conveyed by the heading and subheading text.
  • Portfolio marquee auto-scrolls. Hover or focus pauses the animation. Users with motor or vestibular conditions can disable it entirely via OS reduced-motion settings.

6. Third-party content

Portions of this website embed third-party widgets we do not directly control:

  • Booking calendar is loaded inside an iframe from a third-party scheduling provider at link.onevision.agency. Accessibility of the booking widget is managed by the provider. If you cannot complete a booking with assistive technology, please contact us by email, SMS, or KakaoTalk and we will book it for you manually.
  • Web fonts are served by Google Fonts. If fonts fail to load, the system fallback (Helvetica / Arial / Noto Sans KR) is used.

7. Browser & assistive-technology compatibility

genreagency.com is designed to work with the latest two versions of the following:

  • Browsers: Chrome, Edge, Safari (macOS & iOS), Firefox, Samsung Internet.
  • Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS & iOS), TalkBack (Android), NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows).
  • Magnifiers / zoom: macOS Zoom, Windows Magnifier, browser zoom 100–200%.
  • Voice control: macOS Voice Control, Windows Voice Access, Dragon NaturallySpeaking.

If you find a combination that does not work, please report it (see Feedback) and we will investigate.

8. Assessment approach

Our internal accessibility assessment for this website includes:

  • Automated scanning with axe-core on key page templates.
  • Manual keyboard-only and screen-reader walkthroughs of the home page, booking modal, and these legal pages.
  • Color-contrast spot checks using the WCAG contrast ratio formula.
  • 200% zoom + 400% reflow checks per WCAG 1.4.10.

This statement does not represent a formal third-party audit. We are scheduling a third-party VPAT-style review and will update this section when it is complete.

9. Feedback & how to report issues

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on genreagency.com, please tell us. We treat accessibility issues as priority bugs.

Please include:

  • The URL where you encountered the issue.
  • The browser, operating system, and assistive technology you were using.
  • A short description of the problem and what you expected to happen.

We aim to respond within 2 business days and to remediate confirmed barriers within 30 days. While we work on a fix, we will provide the information or function you need through an alternative channel (email, SMS, voice).

10. Enforcement

This statement does not waive any legal right you may have under the Americans with Disabilities Act (Title III), the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, the California Disabled Persons Act, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, or any other applicable law. If we have not resolved an accessibility issue to your satisfaction, you may file a complaint with the US Department of Justice or, in California, with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
